Job Description/Functions:

To perform routine audits of the manufacturing process by visual inspection. Data collection using IPC-A-610 (current Rev. Level) and company procedures.

Inspects visually for obvious defects

Performs assigned routine audits on assemblies in process where results are compared with company quality standards. Reports results to supervisor that will review and take necessary action.

Removes non-conforming material from process where found

Records results on inspection forms and reports number of defects found

Posts inspection data
Qualifications Required/Job Specifications Included:
-
High School Diploma or GED required
-
One to three years experience in manufacturing electronics

Ability to read components and assembly/mechanical drawings

Ability to read and interpret procedures

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written and oral instructions Some lifting required

IPC-A-610B. Demonstrated knowledge and application of applicable ISO processes
