Machine Operator

Job Description/Functions:

• Set-up and operate SMT machines and manufacture SMT assemblies

• This position performs the function of operating and/or programming surface mount assembly equipment. This includes using either a manual, semi-automatic or automatic solder paste stencil machine; loading the proper components onto Siemens Placement Machines; operating the reflow oven; operating AOI machine and performing quality inspections at each stage to ensure correct assemblies are manufactured.

Qualifications Required/Job Specifications Included:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Six months or more experience with SMT Functions or automated equipment. Further on the job training will be provided

• Component identification, ability to read, follow rules/instructions, understand basic circuit assembly processes

• Must be able to read assembly documentation

• Work well with other employees as a team and pay close attention to detail and neatness

• Interface with process engineering to identify/resolve problems

• Demonstrated knowledge and application of applicable ISO processes
